Every new patient and resident receives a complimentary Welcome Package from the Auxiliary upon their arrival to Mount Sinai Hospital.

A committed group of volunteers assembles these brightly colored bags, filled with essentials for their hospital stay such as: toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, lotion, comb, tissues, pen and paper.

It is such a gratifying experience for us whenever we deliver these gifts and we are always greeted with a smile and a thank you from the surprised recipients. Enthusiastic people are always needed to participate in this wonderful program. It takes a few hours a month but we can promise you that the rewards are great.
