One of our successful on-going projects is “Common Cents” where many generous supporters collect their small change and bring it in to us. Tax receipts are issued for amounts of $10 and more. A large “Common Cents” receptacle is situated at one of the Hospital’s entrances, and a small “tzedakah” box is in the coffee shop.
Each person’s small contribution adds up to a noteworthy amount which goes towards equipment purchases and program funding.
Even though the donation of “cents” has dried up, we are now receiving more and more silver coins in our “tzedakah” box. Thank you to all our friends who have generously given their small change to us in order to further enhance the lives of our patients and residents.
